| Well I wanted to give everyone some updates here. The first batch is now 7 weeks old and I love their markings and colors. I call the yellow ones Bandits and I think the picture will explain why The black ones are very close to the male and a few of them have misinformed ventral fins but are otherwise very healthy. The are growing out their dorsal fins at this time and each day they get a little longer and a little wider. They are on a steady diet of flake and frozen foods and let me tell you... they will eat everything in site! They have finally got the idea that the food comes from the top of the tank so when I walk in front of it there is now a mad dash to the top haha. They are currently residing in a 55 gallon bare bottom tank and depending on if I sell some off or not will get split up in another week or two into some other tanks for further grow out. Enjoy! | |

| wow they look great. mine are still so darn tiny, not having the live brine shrimp i think kept them growing slowly. but they are finally looking like angels with their cute fins and colorling, but i think a few may be albino or orange or something as they aren't showing any color pigment yet.
wish i had a prettier breeding pair like yours, but babies are fun no matter the color. but holy cow they are a huge hassle!
now i have to get an extra 55 for them to grow out and maybe a 100?!!! and if my pair would have been able to keep their last batch (about 75 wigglers to free swimmers but i wasn't keep a light on and i think the other fish got em) i would have double the babies now and now my 3rd angel is laying eggs, but no man to fertilize, so now that the pair is moved out i hope she stops.

| Don't worry both of you are on the list to get them. I have another batch of about 100 that is nearing qtr size in the next week. I should take a video of these guys eating it is pretty funny to watch. I can't walk in the room without them going nuts because they think that everytime I pass by the tank they should get something haha. | |

| Don't worry soon you will have so many you won't know where to put them! Really great fish to raise though. Fairly forgiving as they grow up but sometimes a little dumb when it comes to food haha.
I still have tons of these fish growing up. If anyone else is interested in them just let me know and we can work something out!

| Thanks Strike, when I am successful I am getting rid of everything in my other 6 tanks except my husbands tank which I am working on thinning out now, he has too many red zebras.

As she said they are doing great they went in with my first batch I got from my breeding pair. Everyone got their pecking order down and now they are all happy. They will be getting moved into a 45ish custom acrylic tank shortly after I make a nice little stand for it haha.

Hope you get some really nice ones, Ben! A private LFS here bought nickel-size angelfish juveniles from a friend of mine and paid her a decent price. They were mostly interested in buying the golden ones; apparently those were the best sellers. :)

| I have no idea how to sex those angels but if they are not the correct sex I will always be more than happy to trade them out with the ones I got now in my 40g. | |

| Once they get a little bigger we will hopefully find a mate for them. There is bound to be the opposite sex in there at this point haha. | |

| I must say striking has a really nice setup going. Very glad I could stop by and get some angels. I must say his discus and that planted tank both look even better in person.
Thanks again man my gf loves them.

| Just took a picture on my cell of the Angels and figured I would post it here. Cell phone doesn't take great pictures so a bit blurry. They are still doing great. | |
