| No idea what they are doing with them. He had them in a little grow out in the tank I guess the parents ate a few of them but didn't say what he was going to do. My guess is raise/sell them but who knows...
As soon I know the fry are going to be healthy I will most likely start looking for some new homes for them hehe

| It's eggs her tube is down, they can lay eggs every 8 to 15 days. up to 500 at a time (300to 400 is the norm for most pairs). Once they lay the eggs do not turn off the light as they will get skittish and eat the eggs. (hard for them to see predators in the dark) Put methylene blue in the tank as soon as they are finished laying the eggs. |

| depends on the size of his grow out tank? He can donate pre-dime size if he wants. But the person will need to know how to take care of them. BTW you can get the marble anytime. |

| Thanks for much for information Vix!
I'm totally in love with the coloration of the male. But I have a soft spot for black fish in general, especially Black Moors. Chris hates all things goldfish though, hence why we don't have them lol.

| Feed some blood worms and drop the temp a few degrees in the water change stimulates rainy season which is breeding season for wild angels, |

| Feed blackworms and the angels will breed every 7 days in the morning. Water changes are not needed to make them spawn. H2O mid week between spawns. The trick is babies per gallon. To crowded and fins are short and bent. I raised angel by the thousands and shipped to majors suppliers in Flordia and LA. | |

| Black worms are hard to come by here in Va. that's why I recommended blood worms. |

| They just laid eggs!!! Must have started about an hour ago or so but I went out and noticed something looked odd and sure enough the female was laying and the male was right behind her fertilizing! I will post some pictures up in a little while but she must have laid 100 eggs haha. The funny part is I had lots of slate and some pots in there for spawning spots and what do they do it on... a vertical PVC pipe I use for my fill system... Anyways now the fun begins! I really hope some survive from this batch. I guess the female was eating some of the eggs last time but I would like to try a natural brooding process until they are free swimming. | |

| Well I divided up the tank (55Gal) and added one teaspoon of methylene blue to the fry side. I have air running up the side of the pipe the eggs where laid on. Now I play the waiting game. I will likely move the parents tomorrow to another tank to keep them together and happy but away from the lure of their fry. That way I can keep moving back my divider as the fry grow bigger.
I wanted to keep the eggs with the parents but the guy I got them from made it sound like the female ate most of the eggs. I know this is normal but I would like as many fry to survive as possible!
