Why'd I name these two cute little 3/4" cichlids after the biggest couple on TV?

Because they're young Electric Blue Demspeys - that's why!

Hard to imagine how big they'll get. Right now they're hard to see in my little 2 gallon fry tank and dwarfed by the pingpong sized moss balls. It'll be fun watching them grow! I'm imagining the looks on student's faces when they hit full size..

Time to buy more brine shrimp and blood worms....

Think I should've named them Chicken and Shit. These guys are very timid! Ended up netting two of my glofish from my 10G and tossing them in. (glofish are currently bigger than the blue Jacks - I'll remove them when the Jacks get bigger)

Accidently netted a young guppy. Interesting how the young blue got interested in chasing it around. Guppy is still too big/fast for them.

The 'company' has gotten them brave enough to leave the cover of their small java fern hideout. They're much braver now. Didn't realize that blue Dempseys were chickens compared to my other species of cichlids.

I used to have a tank full of cichlids each one named after a character on Happy Days. There was Chachi, Joni, Richie, Lori Beth, and Fonzie. Prior to that was my Oscars named Oscar and Felix, Both passed of old age (rip).
