Hey guys, just thought I'd share something with you. For a while now, I've been looking for something to clean up my cichlid tank. Everything i put in there got killed. One day I went to my LFS and found this guy. A Striped Raphael Catfish. He has sharp spikes on his back that you can't see, and is very cute. He's nocturnal as well so he hides during the day, then when all the cichlids are sleeping he comes out and cleans the bottom of the tank for me!!

Catfish are amazing. I use Synodontis Lucipinnis. Also Plecos of course. reg BN and ABN.

Me too, i tried but they have died too...this guy was only 6 bucks and I've had him for over 4 months now

stripers are awesome, I have had one for quiet some time I love the little guy, but.......................... he's no longer very small.. i think he is bout 5ins long and very thick. definitely dont have to worry bout any of the cicklids nibbling on him. i plan on getting three more now that i have added so many more fish to my tank. I think you will enjoy these little cats.
