Propper size tank for Breeding Corys? Empty
PostSubject: Propper size tank for Breeding Corys?   Propper size tank for Breeding Corys? Icon_minitime11/26/2010, 11:04 pm

I have a group of 8 bronze corys breeding in a 40g breeder right not, and just managed to get a group of 10 albinos for only $8 cheers

I wanted to free up the 40g breeder to focus on a breeding group of german blue rams and was wondering what can I get away with for the corys.

I have two empty 20 longs right now and figured they would be great...

The bronze corys are two to three times the size of the albinos... maybe the bronze group would be too much for a 20 long...

Think I should mix and match, split the groups? 5 albino and 4 bronze per 20 long?

Then again i'm not really trying to make thousands of cory fry, unless someone out there wants to buy large quantity?! lol

Otherwise not sure where I would put the extra corys, since my other tanks are either species tanks (fulus, rams, convicts) or have large synos that would probably kill them, or has enough loaches and botias and doesn't need more bottom dwellers.

Hmmm, maybe I can just put that albino group in the 37 tall I was going to setup real soon as a display tank... I saw a reeeeaaaalllyy nice pair of silver scaled angelfish at an LFS around here... hmmm chin

I have only one 40g breeder... either rams or corys...

the others would go in 20 longs or something else...
