First topic message reminder :

I got some newer pics of the tank after I cleaned it this weekend. Should have waited until some of the corals were more open. I didn't get pics of some of them since they were closed up. Please don't mind the algae that I am still fighting with. Nothing wants to eat it so I pull it by hand and suction it out.

Green/blue striped mushroom...has had four babies and spreads about 2-1/2" across fully open...

Something my fish guy calls red razor algae (maybe someone knows the correct name). This is the size when I bought it about four months ago...

A cool little guy that I think is called a limpet from researching online sucking on an empty shell...


This zoanthid just keeps growing and spreading. I think I have it in three or four places in the tank now...

They may.

I rid my tanks of hermits and only use snails now because the hermits not only ate my snails but will feed on ailing SPS's. I dont think hermits will touch HA and urchins will eat your coralline algae in no time so keep that in mind.

yea iv heard horrible stories of Rogue hermits! theirs always that chance!
also pope! is it all tangs that will munch away at algea? or sertain types

all Tangs like their veggies the problem is there are certain algaes that they wont eat GHA and Bryopsis being two of them and these are unfortuantly some of the hardest and prolifics nuisance algaes to get rid of.

Tangs would also be a huge problem in my little tank as they would outgrow it in no time. I would not want to put one in and stunt it's growth.

you know with texting and posting n stuff....its kinda lame but cant seem to not do it! hehe(is hehe better?)
ppl only throw the tangs in their tanks for a lil amount of time! just long enuff to solve the algea prob thats it! i think its really inhumane(spelling) to have a tang in a tank smaller than 4-5 feet long. they need their space!

That shrimp is awesome! It cleans my hand while I clean the tank :) I don't know if I want to add any more fish to it right now though.
