| Got rid of a few fw tanks to free up time and space for this. It has a modded 30-60 that's now rated at 140 gph(putting live rock rubble in it). 2 acrylic sheets w/ holes to separate the sides(good for mounting my lights too). I'm going to put cheato in the middle. I picked up the 56watt T5HO lights from a LFS(1-12k day and 1-10k actinic) I'm going to breed banggai cardinals on 1 side, and breed false percula clowns on the other side.

| Yeah, a guy name Nick at Fish Ranch made it. It has a few scratches, but I'm gonna buff them out this weekend. Hopefully get it up and running too.

| I'm thinking of doing 2 Oceanic BioCube Protein Skimmers. One on each side. I'm taking the cheap way(lol). | |

| clowns may take awhile, but the banggai cardinals are hardy and the easiest of all saltwater fish to breed. So I'm told, but we'll see. | |

| Update pics: Added R/O water and Reef Crystal salt mix. 25.lbs live sand. Along with a 1.lb rock on each side. A yellow tail damsel to each side(great cycle fish, very hardy). 75watt ebo jager in the middle set to 78. Added a small frag rack, but it's going in another tank once I move some things around. | |

| I don't have a budget for this tank because I bought it out the blue. No more will be added until I sale more freshwater items. I refuse to spend a dime out of my pocket. | |

| There's a lot of heaters, 20longs, 55's, air pumps, diy stands, sponge filters and shop lights. I didn't post it here because everyone stay so far away from Houston. I wish I was a little closer to Dallas, that's where a lot of our members are. | |

| easy to manage if you stay on top of your water conditions. If you already have a 20, you could get it started under $100(for the basic). ...and after cycling, $20-$30 here and there until it's where you want it. Live rock, lights, chemicals, protein skimmers. fish and coral start becoming costly after awhile.
But for a 20 gallon, basic lights with a 50/50 10k bulb, crushed coral substance, 2 clown fish, a couple small pieces of live rock, you could start it under $100 and maintain it for $5 a week.
Shoot me a pm if you have anymore questions. | |
