| I got my tank set up and added the stress coat declorinater and realized I needed double the gravel I put in there. Whats the easiest way to get more gravel in there, and why do you have to wash the gravel? | |

| Take out fish and buy more gravel. Put in 5gal bucket and rinse until water gets clear. The reason for this is so the dust particles get's washed away and you wouldn't be waiting 3 days for the water to clear. | |

| If ya have one of those big plastic cups like the kind a fountain drink comes in from Race Trac or 7-11 ya can pour one cup at a time in there without take'n anything out of ya tank. Just sink a full cup of gravel to the bottom of ya tank and pour it out. I did this with sand in my 125 and it didn't cloud up at all. But it's always a good idea to turn ya filters off while ya doin it then turn them back on after ya thru put'n gravel in there.

| A dechlorinator is a must! Prime is the cheapest per treated gallon. You don't have to move your fish if you add the gravel carefully. Did you cycle the tank? |

| Yeah he has the stress coat water conditions in there already. You really don't need dechlorinator if you aren't getting fish for a week. It evaporates by itself within a few days. Just do the smell test. | |

| The chlorimines don't go away without a dechlorinator. |
