| I'm stoked! I am going to be adding a beautiful halfmoon to my home thanks to our Whisper!!! I'm hoping to have my photo software fixed and operational by the time he gets here so I can add pics of him (and my other fish too). I love Bettas, and have always had one since I was a kid. With work and kids taking most of my time and attention over the last decade, I've been Betta-less (fishless altogether, actually) since 2001. I CAN'T WAIT FOR HIM TO GET HERE! | |

| Well, I'll show you a pic of him that Whisper sent to me.... he's young, and a little smaller than normal, but he's perfect to me! :) You can just click the thumbnail to see it bigger... | |

| hehehe!!! They're the BEST! Just had a thought....which brings me to a question: What kind of (if any) lighting should I use for his tank? It's just a 1.5 gallon that housed my daughter's fancy goldfish when she was a little girl. LOL! It hasn't seen a fish in quite some time and we never used lighting for it. | |

| You don't really need lighting just be sure you have something to cover it with. | |

| Thanks Shea! :)
And thank you Whisper! I wasn't sure about that. Our house (which is a 1968 double wide mobile home) is kinda dark tho...it's complete with 60's trademark dark paneling, yellow ochre bathroom fixtures, etc... everything about this place is dull and drab and shamefully out of date. :/

| If it makes you feel any better I've got mine in a critter keeper with a heater, no decor or anything yet. He's doing fantastic. Our house stays pretty dark, also have dark walls. He doesn't seem to mind at all. | |

| Hey meredith love your avatar. The heaters I uase for my small tanks ia a Hydro Mini flat heater 7.5w heats up to 5gal. I like the flat ones because they take up no space. | |
