| So I noticed what looked like some sort of opaque white plastic in my tank so I pulled it out and it completely lost its form and looked like a little over a tablespoon of slimy snotty something! Not sure what it is....any thoughts? | |

| There are no snails in that tank. It is one single membrane. No pics, no camera. It looks just like snot but a little thicker. | |

| Are all tank inhabitants present? Fresh or saltwater? Water parameters all within normal limits? Has "The Blob" come to invade earth again!!??!! Just some thoughts. If something hid, died, and decomposed... Hitch-hiker in/on a plant or substrate. I'm wrackin' my brain, and it hurts!! | |

| It just looked like a clear-ish white blob, kind of circular. about 2 inches. | |

| best I can come up with would be a jellyfish but I know its fresh so I'm drawing a blank! If I were you I would keep a good eye on the tank and look to see if there are any other blob's in there, if you find more than one you may have an issue. But if you don't find any more I wouldn't worry too much... strange things end up in tanks all the time |
