| what are the dimensions of you 135? i would reccomend a longer tank fo ra sump over a taller one first off, if you have room under the tank in the stand i would say use a 55 gallon tank (standard 4 foot length tank) |

| it measures 18"x24"x72". i dont have much room under my stand. i have the tank set up already with a canister filter. thought about getting a over flow filter. that i can hang over the side. I just dont like all the wires and tubes everywhere. | |

| so the lxwxh is 72x18x24? how tall is your stand? a standard 55 is 48l x 13w x 19t, so if your stand is at least 3 foot in height i would say go with a standard 55 gallon tank as your sump/fuge |

| in the case of my 90 i had to remove a back brace on my stand and put the sump in with the tank empty. problem you are going to have is that any sump of good quality will require you to empty your tank to install teh sump, if you did find a sump that would fit without doing this would probably not be worth the effort tou use it. on a side note however, you could actually set your sump/fuge next to your stand and have a display fuge. |

| yeah i know it can be a pain but unfortuatley you are going to have to unless you set it up oout of the stand meaning you will need more plumbing not really a problem, and a bigger return pump to compensate (meaning more money). if you wer alot closer i would even help you install it for a frago of something or something, however i would suggest checking your local area to see if there is someone locally that can help you install it that will do it for free or a small fee/ frag of a coral, or something |

nosize desnt matter for return flow but where it is located might. being under teh stand woudl require a return pump that is less gph to get water back into the tank as opposed to a tank mounted 2 or 3 feet away in which case the return pump would have to have a hiegher flow rate to compensate for teh extra plumbing. emptying teh tank is not a that big of a problem relly i have done it myself coultless times, i just return teh water i drain after i am done setting stuff up, the biggest issue fo rme when i do it is to keep a powerhead in the container with my fish and corals a and another in the container wiht the rock. wanna get me a round trip plane or bus ticket i would be glad to help you out you could also throw in a frag of a coral if you wish you want a tank that will hold extra water in case of a power outage. when the power goes out wiht a sump/refugium the water will continue to flow into the sump until it hits teh siphon break, in your case it would be the water gettng below the overflow box inside of the tank, another plus of a sump is you could put a dsb in it to use for denitrafication while not putting a dsb in your tank (i myself like the look of an in tank dsb of 4" |
