| Ok, I might have a kid putting salt in the snail tank (it's up front and up on a shelf making it easier for students to get to), but barring that possibility - all my baby snails died over the weekend. Had one adult die last week, another one looks like its kicking the bucket this week. Put all the others into my bichir tank that I know is safe.
Ammonia - below readable levels Nitrite - 0ppm Nitrate - <10ppm pH - 7.8 Hardness - high Alkalinity - high Temp - 76-78F Calcium source: Shells and limestone
Do you think that maybe the tank is TOO CLEAN? I give them bottom feeder algae waifers, but maybe they need live algae?

| Are these the babes that recently hatched?
Only thing I can begin to suggest would be the same fate that I had with mine. Food. I thought I had kept plenty of food in there for them but apparently wasn't enough. High calcium enriched feeds to. Have you made snailo before?

| Sounds like the most likely problem. Just not enough algae in a clean tank. Would you give me your snailo recipe? | |

| Sure thing. I'll actually post it up in the DIY section. Hopefully it will help others as well. | |
