| Triggers are very aggressive but then again all fish are differant plus youre putting the Trigger in last which is good. my biggest concern would be the Anthias. I would probably go with the Huma Huma and make sure he's quite a bit smaller than the current residents. good luck! | |

| The only 2 triggers I've heard to be reef safe are Blue Jaw (Blue Chin) and a Crosshatch. I have a blue jaw and it is pretty shy and easy going. Just be careful because most triggers need to eat shells to keep their teeth filed down.
P.S the Crosshatch is very expensive.

| They are beautiful fish, here is a pic of mine, named after my dog that was put down after 12yrs, his name is "Piper" and is more like a pet than a fish in a different environment. He is a Humu Humu, I have a FOWLR. | |

Ah, I missed that! Thnx cwhip. Then *most* triggers should be ok then. But your snails and hermits might come up missing really fast if they are small.

| triggers can be hit and miss the nigers are known as one of if not the least aggressive, but any and all triggers can turn into nightmares when they mature (which can be a few years) I have had niger, clown and orange line triggers provide lots of rock with small and large hiding spaces if you choose to add one of the more aggressive ones, keep them well feed (shelled clams and shrimp) for their teeth and try to move all wires out of our main tank and into a sump or cover them. they like to "try" things mine will chew up any exposed wires. | |
