| We now have one side full . Bottom row is adult Breeders , and the top row are Male Juvies of those below them . Moving my various Shellies this week end . Maybe my L270's and Peckoltia Zwerg and Pygmy cories as well .

| LiG.. That is the ONLY thing I have up on ya! Here is a portion of my man cave.. now remember I only bought my first tank on 2/5/11... Feb 4. A couple of days later.. a 29 bowfront starting it's cycling period. Today.. 29 is fully hosting and the 50 is just about ready for some serious fish.. right now it has a couple of long fin serapae tets, 3 pepper cory's, 3 guppy fry that somehow managed to survive a community tank full of hungry fish and a couple of Pleco's... | |

| @ Williem , in short answer , yes. What I did was separate the whole thing into 3 electrical systems. Each system is on its own 20 amp breaker. And I rearranged the electric panel to "balance" it . Approximately equal draw on each side. There are 6 sumps running all the tanks . Therefore I have , in the garage , 32 tanks running on 6 pumps , 6 heaters ,and 6 filters. A whole lot better that 32 of each !! Ray | |

| very nice! Is this the garage with the orchids as well? I'm curious if it's cheaper or any more efficient to heat the garage than to heat the tanks? miss my fish room days... | |

| Right now I'm heating the garage with a 1500 watt strip heater.. Does OK while I'm up but I shut it down when I call it a night. During the real cold nights this past winter it couldn't keep up so I had to resort to a kerosene heater. Just got rid of that and am in the process of putting up a slate wall and installing a wood/coal stove for next winter.. I can't chance going without heaters in the tanks due to temp swings in the man-cave... like right now, it's 53 outside and was 60 degrees in the garage at 8:00 am 3 hrs later with the strip heater on, it's made it up to 69...That kind of swings would be fatal to the tanks. I'll be installing insulation in the ceiling of the garage and that should pretty much seal it up tight.. then we'll see. (the walls are already done). I might have to do something about the garage door though... | |

| Wow that's a huge temp range. Give your garage a Holmes inspection(if you ever watch that show) lol | |

| My garage fish room is heated by a forced air heat vent into it . The door to the house is also open all the time . I walled in the big garage door and insulated it . I keep a heater in the sumps more for my own conscience I guess . The temp gauges on the top tanks are sayin' 78°- 80° Ray | |

| Ray.. walling in the Garage Door has crossed my mind... BUT.. as it is my wife thinks I've gone off my rocker already! Picking up almost 250 gallons in 6 tanks in just 5 weeks might lead her to believe that! Plus I do some work out of my garage and the door needs to be viable... But it sure is tempting! | |
