Hopefully Whisper will be able to let me know! Im looking forward to her response.
Would also love a link to some helpful pages that show how to pin point females.
Worked at a pet store for a few years, and have always had bettas, and this would be the first time I goofed xD!
/feels lame

http://www.bettafish.com/showthread.php?t=59401 is a good link to sexing bettas. This is, however the only link I know of, since I am a newb at Betta breeding, lol!

The caudal and dorsal do look very long for a female. Can you see an egg tube just behind the ventral fins. Ocationally you will have a female with longer finnage but this one is really long. I thought it was a male when I first saw the video. Can you get a clearer picture? Even a still piture would help. Even a plaket male doesn't have fins that long. Plakeet is a breed of Betta with shorter fins on the male and female.

Great your here to help! haha. My camera wont take pictures that aren't blurry. Yes I can see the egg tube. Very visible. I just recorded a video of her in the tank light around my other betta, perhaps this will help? Im currently uploading it right now

Tried uploading the video, but for some reason it failed! Grr. In honesty, it was not much better then the one of her/him now.
What would you suggest doing at this point? Continue the plan, feed them, and get them ready to spaw, and get the breeder tank ready and see who builds the bubble nest? LOL

Condition them both good with frozen bloodworms and other live foods for about two weeks. Set her in a jar or something right next to him so they can see each other. When she is ready to breed she will get vertical stripes. Also he should start making a bubble nest......The picture up above of the female does not have vertical strips. The stripes should go up and down just behind the gills. If my dang photobucket was working I would post a picture of a female with vertical stripes.
