| She's right, I think I might have to go back to a water change every other day because from the looks of it they look a bit better every time I do a water change... but then again it's still risky... | |

| believe me water changes are better than any medication. I've done water changes 3x a day on some illnesses and fish survived without medications. |

| Get some of the black water extract and use 1/2 dose of that with your water changes. Its should knock the PH down by about .5 And it is not medication, it is tannins in a bottle For those black water fish like angels. |

| I just want to ask a question, if I could? I am not familiar with angels-do they like any salt in their water, like brackish fish? Sorry, didn't mean to get OT. | |

| No salt as they are from flowing Amazon rivers with lots of leaf debris so very low PH levels. |

| The over production of slime like your angels have been suffering with tells me that there is something in the water that is irritating the fish......pH, ammonia, or some chemical?..................Have you tested for ammonia/nitrite?.....Try running a lot of activated carbon in your filter changing it every 5 days........It does not look like columnaris and if it was the fish would have died by now......It is not a fungal disease, but might be a bacterial infection of some sort.
As a last resort, try using Maracyn per the dosing instructions.

| I think I might know what the could have caused it... See I took out the carbon filter because I didn't like the fact that it blocks away the smell and stuff and if there is something wrong with my water I wanted to know, so I added a big sponge in it.
So far, they are looking a bit healthier but I think Iama keep doing water changes until I see no slime at all.
