Anyone keep Melanochromis chipokae?

Do these sell at all?

Before I sold the entire group they sold pretty well but have no clue what the market is for them currently don't think I've even seen them in a store for quite sometime now.

They are ok. Very colorful. Could get a few bucks for them. THey are not hot cakes though.

People who have breed or kept these fish know how crazy they are when breeding. They can have lots of fry and trying to keep up with all the young, can drive on crazy. \as soon as the lfs are full, getting rid of them can be a task in its self. Granted they are a beautiful. Many of my friends have switched over to tanganyikan cichlids. Some species are a little more challanging but worth the reward. The rule of thumb in keeping malawi cichlids is one male for every 4 females or even more when you keep the top of the line aggressive type. hpoe this will help you out. Melanochromis chipokae is one of the crazy ones.
