| It's cold here in the 'burgh. We got about 8 inches of snow this week. Not too bad, but made driving in the early morning suck. We are really growing in PA. If anyone needs anything here in PA, just ask and I'll try to help! | |

| Subject: Hello, PA! 1/30/2011, 2:49 pm | |
| Hi all! I am new to this but figured I would jump into the local PA forum. I currently have 2 setups running. One 92 gallon corner saltwater aquarium which is slowly changing from a FOWLR to a reef w/fish tank. The other tank I have is a 12 biocube that currently houses my dwarf octopus (quite a challenge making a sub-lid for the tank to contain him (he is very smart). I have been thinking about turning one of my QT tanks into a freshwater but I want to make it very unique if I do go down that road. | |

| How long have you been into SW? I think I started about 3+ years ago...hard to recall now. I have to say that it was quite expensive learning the ins and outs but after some time I have not had any losses and everything seems very stable (knock on wood). What types of corals do you have? I am pretty new to the reef piece but have kenya trees which are stemming off all over the place, pulsating xenias which are also spreading, some zooanthids, and some green star polyps (decent mat mixed in with some xenias). | |

| hello salt water98, Been doing this hobby about 8 yrs now. I agree about the cost but you can learn the pitfalls by going to places like this. I also have kenya trees, lots of mushrooms, hammers, 2 bubble corals, white and green, cabbage corals, chili corals, trumpets and acans. Also have about 12 fish. 90 gl reef front aquarium. Don,t be afraid to ask . Thats how we learn. Stay warm | |

| Very cool. I have definitely read a ton of posts over the years. That is what helped me to finally stabalize over the past year or so. I currently have a blue jaw trigger, foxface rabbit, emporer angel, bird wrasse, mated clown pair w/anemone, and a 3-striped damsel. A couple have the potential to outgrow the tank but it will take quite some time for that.
