My albino tiger barbs are spawning! At first I thought they were trying to kill each other affraid .Not that I will get any fry, they are in my 75g community and my corys and mollys are eating the eggs. What size tank would be good to put the 4 barbs in for breeding? Has anyone done this before?

The trick with tiger barbs is using a 15 Gallon tank and instead of using substrate, Try using Marbles!!! You can get them cheap at any dollar store in your area. Fill it with the marbles at least an inch thick at the bottom. The barbs will deposit their eggs near the bottom and the egss will trickle though the marbles preventing the other fish from eating them. Depending on the size of the barbs, marbles to use is about a size of a dime. Too big will result in the fish to get between the marbles and have a good lunch!!! As the eggs hatch, the tiny fry will live and eat amongst the marbles and before you know it, WHAT TO DO WITH ALL THE FRY!!!!! Color of the marbles are optional! Your choice! This can be done with any egg laying tropical fish. I hope this will help you out and happy breeding!!!
