| The first one is a dalmatian VT. See the spots on on him? Maybe that will help to come up with a name. LOL | |

| Oh he has been through many names, he just hasn't settled on one yet I think they did a great job on picking nice looking ones! There were a few others that they like but they looked a little iffy to me so they decided against them. But not bad for 5 & 8 year old kids |

01. Pongo (Father) 02. Two-Tone 03. Lucky 04. Thunder 05. Rolly 06. Patch 07. Pepper 08. Rolly 09. Cadpig 10. Freckles 11. Patch 12. Wizzer 13. Dipstick That would be the ones that I know of (for the males that is, some of the names could go either way)

they can, but the biggest problem is the fin nipping that most other fish tend to do. | |

| I need to get some more pics in the morning, their colors have improved a bunch! They both seem quite happy in their little 1g tanks!
Bass, you can have one betta and 4 panda corys in a 10g just fine. I have mine in with 3 bronze and albino corys and my bf's is in with 4 bronze and albino corys. The corys are all stunted and misshapen (should have been culled) So they work in the 10g but you would want a smaller species of cory like the panda. Both bettas and corys like a nice planted tank, I use top soil under sand (corys do best with sand) Its a nice looking cheap way to go. |

| Bettas can go with any non aggressive fish like guppies,Platys and the like. You can even make a sorority tank of female battas. Most people don't realise how colorful females battas are. From reds to blues and greens, whites, yellows. | |

| I decided the kids are each getting a 10g my friend is building a kid sized stand for them I have plenty of spare 10g's My friend is good with building things so I just told her a kid sized stand that will hold 90 lbs~ with some extra top area for the food to set on and such. Give the stands a double coat of urethane later on and then set the kids loose on them with some colored permanent markers so they can decorate them however they jolly well like They will be their stands so its all up to them |

| What a good momma letting them decorate their stands and good idea with the double coat of poly so that they don't ruin the wood with their art. You can sand it back off later. | |

| May get them a few smaller corys or something compatible later on.
Heck I'm not that concerned about their doodling, later on if they want it different we will coat it with some kilz or something and they can go at it with real paint |

| Sorry I haven't been on in a while! My daughter and I have just got to feeling better after being sick for over 2 weeks. The bettas are beautiful and you know what is so funny, I got my daughter a betta, too, a few weeks ago and she got the same tank that your kids got! LOL! | |
