live plant suggestions

i would like to go with live plantsina few of my tanks but am wondering what plants to use that dont need much care for them to survive. i just have too much going ninmy fish roomthat i really cant afford to plug anything else in so all suggestions are welcomed and if you have any of the lants you mentioned for sell send me a PM

Jesse use Jave Ferns, They are really the best IME with low lights.

all the lighting i have is what you see in the fish room on the ceiling and nothing above the tanks

Java may work if you have a tank near a window with the room light.

i have no windows in that room just the lighting on the roof of the room so oh well looks like im staying with the fake ones

Anubias(12 varieties...I like broad leaf and nana) Java Fern Java moss, Cryptos(again a good variety) all are low light /maintance place...

Big thin to remember with crypts and anubias is do not bury the root completeley leave the tops sticking out of the gravel.

Sorry just saw you posted again yeah most plants need direct tank lighting

Unless you add some lighting nothing. You can get away with indirect lighting on the tanks for the low light but you need plant bulbs.

sorry Jesse guess you need to upgrade the electrical panel and add more plugs.
