Is your back ground black or do you use photshop to make the back ground go black?

Nevermind I can tell what you did.

Great pics man!! You should put a copywrite on all of them.... Maybe even blow some up poster size and try to spread your pics around.

What kind of camera is that? I am looking to get a solid Camera for x-mas (for myself lol! )

It is a Nikon D90..
I do have black background on most of my tanks.
All of my pics are stored and logged in Picasa 3 program.
I do not photoshop my pics.

I use a homemade bounce box that brings all of the flash from above.
Depth of field blacks out the background.

O I thought you blacked it out somehow. You can see the white little speckels as if you did not get all the black. Not that I mind or care. I was just curiouse on your technique and what equipment you were using. Again Very nice pictures.

The white specks are from my wife feeding.
She thinks they won't come out if she does not feed before I take pictures.

Fern, Charlie our Oacar is over 17 inches.
The Chocolate is probably close to 9 inches.
