IS it on his back or under him? what are your water specs? Does it still "look" healthy? how long has it been like that? and how after does it happen. IS this a new tank? is it a new star? he may be cleaning himself with mucus. alot of marine amimals will coat themselves in mucus to clean themselves off if they have parasites or anything like that on them.
