| Fern.....I have a friend that breeds many types of plecos.....I can get the L/F Brown B/N and Albino B/N or the short fin variety's.......I have been reluctant to fool with plecos in a planted tank because some will damage leaves rasping the algae off.....Does your L/F bristle Nose damage the plants? | |

| I haven't seen anything I can blame on them.... The discus will nibble on them some but he just seems to clean a leaf for a moment and move on. I have them in nearly all of my tanks and most of my tanks are planted, but most of my tanks have cichlids in them so theres always some nibbling from someone. Some people say they will damage plants but I have never seen anything I can blame on them, I feed mine well with algae wafers and a wide variety of fruits and veggis.... so the feeding may have something to do with it. I did just move a short fin into my ruby green tank 2 days ago, it was covered in brown and green algae something awful, now its nice and clean! They do a number on algae! Just because I posted it doesn't mean I cant use it in a POTM later on Isaac, I've had these guys, got them at the same time as the others  |
