| Hey, whats up guys. I'm starting my first saltwater tank this week or next week. I have a 29 gallon tank now but no top. I was wondering if anyone on here has an old tank that they don't need and could either give it to me or sell it to me for a pretty decent price. I'm not too sure how they can ship these but if thats the case i can pay for shipping. preferably between like 36 and 55. Haha i realize this is kind of a long shot but hey i figured i'd give it a try. I live in Virginia by the way. Thanks guys
Also some tips or anything you've got for me for my first saltwater setup. I have been doing plenty of research and have talked to the local aquarium store about it plenty of times recently.

| Welcome aboard.
PM me what you would like to stock and your budget. I'll show you a few corner cutters.
Are you near Alexandria VA. ? I have a few school buddies that stay around that area and also D.C. that keep marine tanks.

| Well actually i'm just gonna stick with the 29 gallon until i get a little more experienced. Would a pair of clowns and some invertebrates be okay in a 29 gallon? And i know i have to spread out putting them in the tank and also give the tank time to cycle, right? | |

| In my 29 gallon I have a pair of clowns and a firefish, some hermits & snails, a shrimp and a sand sifting star. I just recently noticed two other kinds of hitch-hiking stars in there too but don't count them since they are tiny. I also have spaghetti worms living in my aragonite (they are a good thing.)
Do you plan on keeping corals? If so, it's a good idea to start off towards it from the beginning to eliminate buying one set of lights only to have to upgrade quickly to another.
There is a lot of help here, just keep asking. Someone is always glad to help!
