Yeah, it's $8 in the stores here too. I just can't see myself charging someone for algea (lol).
All you need is a little bit and it multiplies twice the size over a month or so. I use a 65watt PC light over my sump. It grows nice under that light.

My calcium levels are too low in my fish only tank to grow this plant.

It grows like crazy in my tank. I have one rock that has about six plants growing from it. I am going to have to trim them because I can't sell them with no roots.

I use the orange bag of salt mix from Instant Ocean. I think it has extra calcium & minerals for the corals in it.

Yeah, I use it as well on my fish only tank.
I use reef crystals in my reef tanks, halimeda
would grow great in there.
