cichlid twitching just a little

I have a cichlid and noticed today he would twitch every once in awhile not continuous but a few times threwout the day should i worry about this?

could be showing signs of breeding or trying to get the attn. from the male or female

If hes doing it at a female he wants to breed.

well he was kinda off to himself when he was doing it...hasnt done it at all today

I wouldn't worry about it too much, fish twitch, itch and do random things sometimes. They are always out to surprise us!

lol yeap my male johanni started doing that right before breeding, i figure they also do it when claiming something or getting ready for a fight, its normal....
