| First topic message reminder :Well here is a pic of the tank and stand, not the prettiest tank or stand but it was cheap Figuring out how to set the wood in the tank and making sure it would fit. This will be a fully planted tank with 4-5ish young discus and a colony of corys, undecided on kind yet. Possibly something else added later on..... I will have a 36" dual power compact light on it, I have it so this is a perfect tank to use it on. Filtration will be a new aquaclear 110 and a fully cycled aquaclear 70, subject to change later on. That's it for now.....

| Not too bad for random plant stuffing Now if the albino corys will leave the micro sword and money wart planted I would be happy |

| Unfortunately I have to wait a bit, I've got a mini cycle going on in there..... once that runs its course I will probably add the discus 1 or 2 at a time to avoid another mini cycle. |

| Sounds like a good set up. But go with 5 or 6 discus not 4-5ish hahah.
Look for corys that do well in high temps. Sterba's Cory can be a good pick. | |

| adolphoi's are the corys that will be in there along with my 4 old albino cory breeders to help trigger them into spawning.
I would like to get 5-6 but can only afford 4-5 for now. I have lots of store credit but the real money is quite lacking right now...... I do plan on getting a few later on and I do want to leave some room in there just in case one comes through my lfs that I 'have' to have.
I still need to make a lid for this tank, its an older tank and has no center brace its built with 1/2" plate glass so figuring out a lid will be interesting. I would do just egg crate for now but I have a feeling the light I have on there will melt it, its a double power compact fixture. Its 36" so I have it laying on 2 2x4's so that makes it even more fun trying to figure out a lid......
Its almost done with its mini-cycle and I think I will get the discus 1-2 at a time to avoid another mini-cycle |

| I just got 3 adolphoi corys 90% sure that they are wild caught and they look to be all males..... but that's ok I'm working on getting some more! They are floating now, I didn't even give them time to hit the QT tank at my lfs I will post pics of them tonight! |

| They are in the tank and seem to be doing ok, a little digging in the sand here and there so that a good sign! |

| 2 of the 3 are doing awesome, following around the albinos and even ate some blood worms, one isn't really doing a whole lot..... Here's some pics, They were just out of the bag when I took these so their color isn't the best..... One of them has a silver ring in his eyes so he is in spawning mode! Too bad they are all boys.... |
