just a few pics of my tank setup (in my living room, lol)

This is before adding air lines for sponge filters and heaters but you get the idea.

These are 40g breeder tanks.

keep in mind, my tanks are set up mostly for utilitarian purposes. Granted, they are in the living room in a high traffic area, so I try to keep them somewhat nice, but I've yet to make the time to really aquascape or do anything fussy.

Here's a few videos that I've taken.

I've been attempting to grow out some ram fry, had a few mishaps with the first few spawns and only have a handful of survivors, hopefully they'll spawn more.

The peacock gudgeons have been spawning like crazy, I have hundreds of fry from them, and the black corydoras laid eggs that are hatching as we speak.

corydoras schultzei (black) or venezuelan corys, there is some conjecture about their true origin.

ok, I've only bred the Corydoras aeneus (bronze, albino and green) thus far, I'm contemplating either sterbai's or Adolphoi's next, I haven't decided what one yet... But the aeneus aren't really worth the effort to raise.

Oh and if you start having luck with your rams my lfs is looking for a breeder to get some tank raised young from. The farms we get them from have had really bad stock lately.

thanks for the heads up, I'll definitely let you know when I get to that point with them.

I'd go for adolfoi just because they are less common IME, if you haven't noticed the trend yet, I work mostly with less common species.

I try to as well, my stock list is a bit unusual to say the least http://www.usafishbox.org/user-stock-list-f38/sl-fern-stock-list-t3453.htm
I'm all over the board with Victorian cichlids to fancy plecos.
Once I get some of my non breeders gone I'm going to be getting a pair of butterfly goodeids, I'm thinking those and 6 corys would work well and breed well in a 29g, what do you think?
I've been wanting adolfois but they seem to be very hard to come by.... The sterbais I can get. Any suggestions of other corys I may want to look for?

Goodeids and corys sound good together, although the livebearers might help wipe out any cory eggs that get laid.

Of course you could attempt to source some true julii's, but good luck with that lol.
