| So. . . I have read that leleupi need iodine in order to prevent goiter, does that mean I can just use Morton Iodized Salt?? | |

I dont know what "market shrimp" are. . . just shrimp from the store? Do they have iodine in them?? How would that help? | |

| When you add any iodine in the tank is really not that the way to go. Do regular water changes and if you must add salt in the aquarium, Use epsom salt instead or pickling salt and make sure there isnt any additives in it. A good diet and water changes, the fish should do alright. I am currently feeding all my fish NLS. The 1mm pellets work best with leleupi. My tropheus are raised on this food for years now with no ill effects and the colors and growth of my fish. I have tropheus Ilanghi that are 6.5 inches or better!!!!! | |
