| Browsing on ebay. Found these brands that have some good master kits. With my students, the more different tests - the better to keep them occupied. I also want kits that require mixing in test tubes/well trays - not simple test strips. I need the kit with the MOST tests as well.
Of course, price is always a consideration since this is out of pocket - but hopefully reimbursed.
Instant Ocean - Reef Master test kit - has 5 parameters. seems to average around $65
Nutrafin Master test kit - has 10 parameters. Seems to average around $85
Hagen - Aquarium master test kit - 10 parameters. Around $100
API Master freshwater kit - 7 parameters. Around $30
The students will be comparing two different freshwater habitats - African rift lake vs Barb stream.

| Is the API Master Kit just simple strips you dip in the tank - or do you use a dropper with indicator and then check against a color card? | |
