It is amazing how the SP44 even at only 1.5" or less is holding.

That is why I love lake victorians... You can house them in a 20 long and they will breed.

My fulus started at 1" vics breed very young and very small!
If possible its good to pull the male from time to time to give the lady's a break or you will start noticing a big size difference.

my sp 44s are not holding yet, got a nice male, but the females will not be in till next week... then look out... i bet 4in females can hold a LOT of fry!!

Another female is holding. At this rate, I am going to have a lot of SP44 on my hands soon. It looks like I have 10 or 12 Females along with 3 or 4 Males in my 40 Gallon. We'll see if they can hold full term; then I got to unload the fry, no place to keep them all.

I always had 3 or 5 females holding at any given time when I had my colony. Very prolific

Sometimes little ones do this stuff.
I had some very small super red empress spawn.

The Vics will do it even smaller.
