I just got 2 Synodontis ocellifer, well that's what we think they are. They are missing pretty much all of their fins but still have a bunch of spunk. They were headed to the freezer in the fish store I help out at, so I asked if I could have them and try to get them well. I now have them in a little 5g tank and treating them with melafix before they go into a real tank. I will get some pics up shortly! |

| Pretty cool looking fish. Even cooler that you brought them back from the brink. | |

| They are so happy and spunky that I had to try! They still have a bunch of recouping to do but they are defiantly on the mend! |

| ok so these guys have been in the 120g with some Copadichromis conophoros mchengas and one calvus and one red top lawanda. I haven't seen them much but could see their little whiskers sticking out from the pits they made under rocks... well one came out for a cruise tonight when I fed....And my lord he has grown! The one that came out is a good 4" now!!! They were barely 1.5" when I got them! His fins are fully healed and look fantastic! Boy am I glad I have an 8' tank to put them in when they get too big for the 120g |
