| This morning I woke up and went to feed fish and turn on all their lights.... I was none too happy to discover that somebody's fat cat butt had shattered the glass top on my Ghost Knife fish tank.  The glass was all over the bottom of the tank and the light was inside the tank (while still plugged in...). Fortunately (for the cats) the Ghost Knife was still alive... he was pinned underneath some glass, but o.k. So now I have to go buy a new hood for a 20 gal tall tank....  Aaaarrrrgh! If I didn't love the cats so much I'd hate them! The worst part is I don't know who did it cause nobody is wet...  Well, I guess it's time to go shopping again!  | |

| What I can't figure out is nobody is that fat... must of been a fluke type thing where they landed just right and hit some sort of pressure point.... | |

| I would look into making some kind of acrylic hoods.... They would hold up better to jumping cats I would think.... |

| My cats no longer go near the tank......the arowana nipped one lol so they have learned their lesson | |

hahaha thats funny!!! i had a cpl cats mess up my 35g hood once!!! it sucked!! the light was on and everything! the cats were playin round and jumped on the tank and broke the light fixture while it was still on!!! JERKS!!!!!! messed up my plug outlet! luckily 4 the cats! none of my fish got hurt!!! | |

| They have never messed up a fish tank....the tank was open because I was cleaning it and one cat put his paw in the water and the arowana thought it was food. HOWEVER they have fallen through the screen of a snake cage. All three of them have dont it at least once but they have all learned. The snakes get bigger and arent afraid of the cats anymore lol | |
