| will it be okay completely submersed? Its about a foot tall with some pretty decent root structure and some leaves starting to come out of the top. I was told just the roots need to be in water - which is the reason its chillin in the filter | |

| It should float at the level it wants to be, thats how they grow, they grow some as they drift along till they eventually snag somewhere and root. Is it a red, white or black mangrove? One is dry one is wet and one is damp, they grow in 3 different areas in the marsh and if you know the kind yours is I can help you figure out how to put it in the tank. a) floating about b)half in half out c) mostly dry In your HOB it may get roots into the impeller and break it
you could string it up in your bug box, you could find a fun wine glass to set it in the tank.... There are ways to get it in the tank and have it be happy |
