Sealing Acrylic???

would it be the same procedure done to glass???
i have a 35g acrylic tank that has a small leak in the corner!
how would i go bout resealing it?

is it the same as glass?

if there is silicone, i would think yes. but if not, im sure it could be done.

an lfs told me he didnt like using acrylic panes when he made his sumps.
he used like 20 gallon glass tanks and had to use glass panes when attaching them with silicone.
when he tried using acrylic panes with the silicone, he said it would last to long for some odd reason.

Piece of acrylic bar and weld-on 16, should seal it.

silicone will not seal acrylic because of its smooth surface. Find a business that sells acrylic. They have the sealer you need. Sealer melts the acrylic together to make seal. Ask for a small scrape piece and use it help reseal tank.
