HOW DO I GET MY CYPHOTILAPIA OFF LIVE FOOD

I ORDERED AN F0 CYPHOTILAPIA FRONTOSA KAPAMPA ZAIRE BLUE FROM CALIFORNIA CICHLIDS LAST WEEK AND I GET GET HIM TO EAT ANYTHING BUT LIVE. IS THERE A GOOD METHOD THAT I CAN CONVERT HIM TO PELLETS WITHOUT HAVING TO STARVE HIM ?

The problem with fronts are that they are creatures of habit. Try feeding them the NLS medium pellets twice daily but very sparingly for a week or two and you will find they will race to the top of the water waiting for the food to drop but one caution!, wear rain gear!!!! They will give you a splash!!!! I have a group of Blue Zaire fronts and they are monsters!!!! My male is about 12 inches big and his feamales are about 6.5. I love fronts. They dont really swim around the tank much but when breeding times comes around, WHAT A SHOW!!!! BTW feed them large spirilina flakes too. I hope this will help you out a bit and have patience, Rome wasnt built in a day.
