| I've seen videos of white worm cultures, seems fairly non-messy, but rather icky nonetheless. | |

| For tiny fry. Vinegar eels and Walter worms both very easy to culture. I use both when raising my newly hatched Betta fry. | |

| well do u want the fish to simply get fed or chase critters.
worm-like live food is easy to catch. easy to culture too in small containers
crustaceans will put up a chase, but the set up to culture them is a little more advanced. but still relatively easy tho.

| whatever you choose, your fish are still gna get fed. micro worms from my experience are a wonderous live food, they wiggle for a half hour in the tank then die so no live-organism contamination like with black or blood worms fouling the substrate. and adult fish love to pick the the bottom hunting for these guys.
as for crustaceans, i use marbled crayfish. just because i dont want to bother culturing anything like daphnia, brine shrimp, copepods. im lazy. the crayfish produce batches of babies fairly often. i just gently scrape the little buggers off the mommas tail. these may not be ideal for you tho. cuz you dont have fish that are semi aggressive(ie dwarf cichlids)
in my opinion; for you id stick with worms | |

| yup, go with microworms. they are one of my favorites and easiest. tiny fry to adults can eat them. | |

| daphnia are an excellent choice. cant go wrong with just about any live feeders. except blood or tubifex worms; can easily foul things if youre not careful | |
