| Is it just me or do frontosas have about as much personality as a rock? |

| Ha! No, it isnt just you. I happen to think the same thing. They are very docile, graceful and boring. | |

| My fronts are slow moving and graze around the tank. Very peaceful to watch...and when I move closer to the tank (and they see me), they start moving against the glass begging for food. Love them... they are one of my favorites. | |

| Hong Grab a Krill and try to hand feed them. Mpimbwes are like dogs, you can hand pet them while you lure them with Krill. | |

| I have a group of Blue Zaire fronts. One huge male and six females with him. As for boring, I must disagree. Mine are always swimming around eating, chasing and the male, always wanting to breed and flashing this mind blowing purple blueish color. Also I have a group of Hai Reef Peacocks in there with them. One male and 7 females. They are housed in an 130 gallon aquarium. Try to keep some peacocks or another type of cichlids with them as long as the others are not too aggressive. A huge flower pot for the male will entice him to breed and go after the females instead of just lying there. The fronts are such gentle giants! I thought the male front ( 12 inches) will swallow my peacocks like they were candy!! Nope!!! They have been housed together now for a better 5 years now with no problems at all. | |

| LOL. I was wondering the same thing. Picked up a few from a LFS this week and....well...was surprised they were so "laid back". | |
