Please know I have not done this. . . . . . but I am curious:

I know is it majorly frowned upon to keep fry from a tank that has same but mixed species. . . make sense?? For example, we have a female OB peacock but we have 2 male peacocks of different species (an OB and Sunshine Benga). So. . . . what is everyone's opinion on keeping the fry if the owner witnesses the breeding and the breeding is between the two of the same species? Not trying to cause an angry debate. . . I just want to see other people's opinions. Just curious 772341

Go check out the subject "thought it was a male" (click on PORTAL and you should see it in the list) and read it all they way through, its only 3 pages and it should answer your question. Everybody has pretty much posted their opinions there.

if u but peacock fry together, you wont be able to tell the females apart. most females look the same.
