some questions

I've came back to freshwater fish after a long stint with saltwater. I moved to martinsburg, wv from norfolk, va and I had to sell all my salt stuff before the move. I now have a 120 gallon tank I got from a friend who moved cross country. Currently it has albino dwarf catfish in it... I also just purchased a small jaguar, red devil, and oscar...and a ropefish.

the red devil, jag, and oscar seem to only come out at night. I don't remember them being nocturnal when I've had them before... what's the deal? Anyone know?
I keep my temp at 80 degress F... is that a good temp? I'm confused as to why it's been 3 days and they barely come out and hide all the time, and when they do it's only at night to eat (won't eat during day).
