| Im starting a 125g 6footer, and I love plecos! I'll have 7 Frontosa in there, 3 Dolphins, and probably 20 or so other cichlids in the tank. I have a 13inch sailfin that has to go in there cause he is out of space in my 55g.
Id like an assortment of plecos, but how many is too many?
On a side note, anyone know where to find some gold nugget plecos?

| I like the new avatar.
I am not sure how many is to many but I know it would depend on the size and what ones you want.
I was thinking about doing a 55G with a bunch of caves and a massive colony of plecos.
Might find the gold nugget at DRAF or online somewhere. Noone local right now that I know of.

| Try AB. There are loads of breeders selling there. With that said it sounds like you have a sufficient stock already. Plecos are very messy fish and with all the other fish you have you would be fighting ammonia constantly. Just my opinion. | |

Thanks for the info all. I need to find a variety of plecos for my new tank. I mostly have brown bn? I have a trio of abn i can toss in there. Believe it or not, still no water in the tank... Work and life have been keeping me busy. I'm gonna get the background tomorrow and fill her up sat. Stay tuned!
