First topic message reminder :

When: Sat. Jan. 21st / 2:00pm
Where: Jstumps House in Mansfield, TX (PM him for address and directions)
What: Club Meet, Fry swap , food & Auction
Who: Calling all fish freaks

We will have food and drinks so just bring some snacks! (chips, drinks, sweets) If you are bringing something please post it up so we don't have 3 people bringing the same thing.

We will have door prizes for all who come. Ken from Kensfish.com has send a bunch of food for all of us to have.

We will be doing a fry swap so please post what species and how many you are bringing.

There will be a mini auction. Around 20-30 Items. 100% will go twards the Cichild Conservation Fund.

Tell a friend there will be much fun to be had!

Well I have a bunch of Guppies growing out if anyones interested. Most of my males are the leopard pattern kind. Also might have a few Red Zebras to swap.

Do 1-2 things for the swap and put the rest in the auction. 20% of the auction $$$ goes to The Cichlid Conservation Fund and FOTAS. The other 80% will go back to the seller!

There is a few jobs avail one pays 14.00 if you can type and the others anywhere from 11.-15 depending on experience. They will train you!!! But in Dallas!!

also, I don't have any fry to bring.....sorry....just some maylasian trumpant snails if people are interested.....that all I got right now. This really sucks, I just had about 40 Ps. Saulosi fry that died (heater malfunction) argh.....what can you do......

that sucks i have had that happen to me before.

That is why I no longer use heaters. Been doing fine w/o them for over a year now.

You do NOT have to bring anything to the meet it is just an option. Although anything is much apperciated.

Sorry I lost 41 german peacock fry to heater malfunction over the thanksgiving weekend. I understand your pain

So, it looks like I will be bringing a single fish. In my Bachelors tank (all-male mbuna). I found my Yellow Lab and Hongi SRT trying to spawn :(. The Hongi is a female, I have no need for her.....she is an F2 with the German Bloodline of the SRT and she's about 3 inches. I'm really suprised she went this long without being constantly chased. I've had her in the tank for well over a year with no signs of mating or spawning. I'm gonna leave her in for a day or two longer to actually confirm holding (if she even holds). I'll take a pic to show what she looks like for the auction. Hopefully, someone has some Lab. Hongi SRT and could use another female?

Maybe jojo or HRT. Not sure if they are coming though. They think that a 1 hour drive is to far once every other month or so

Even if we had it in Dallas I don't think they would come, haha. You gotta come to one before you can whine about that
