What: Club Meet, Fry swap , food & Auction
Who: Calling all fish freaks

We will have food and drinks so just bring some snacks! (chips, drinks, sweets) If you are bringing something please post it up so we don't have 3 people bringing the same thing. crazy

We will have door prizes for all who come. Ken from Kensfish.com has send a bunch of food for all of us to have.

We will be doing a fry swap so please post what species and how many you are bringing.

There will be a mini auction. Around 20-30 Items. 100% will go twards the Cichild Conservation Fund.

Tell a friend there will be much fun to be had!

Unfortunatly will be at Lake Texoma catching stripers that weekend. Hopefully soon I'll be able to join in!

Hey North Texas Chapter I would like to make a big pot of Gumbo........it will be the perfect weather for it and it would eliminate the grilling outside deal. Just so you all know I'm originally from Louisiana and I can handle my biz with the Gumbo. Hey I'm open to opinions, no hurt feelings b/c I know everyone doesn't like or understand what Gumbo is so let me know. haha

I love some gumbo! My dad is from Mississippi and mom from Florida so I've grown up on it! Sounds good to me, we could always get some chicken tenders, pizza, or something for the non seafood people (my wife)

Glad you can relate and know what it is.....lol! I don't get all crazy wit it, just use chicken, sausage and shrimp and it will make your nose run just a lil....no choking or eyes watering.....that's only by request.... funny

im down with the gumbo. i grew up eating it.

Wow I pray I can make this one!!!!! I seem to miss so much but eh. It is my life. I Love Gumbo and People especially little ones. They seem to love me too. Cornbread for the Gumbo!!!! also can add chicken or shrimp to it and sausage if you wanna make a BIG BIG pot I can always help even if I cant make it also got a hugh gumbo pot!!!!

WOW......you were reading my mind, didn't know if I could whip out the Cornbread on um......and some southern potato salad.....oh boy! Hey I've got a few large pots and my standard ingredients are chicken, shrimp and sausage. I have a large crockpot to keep things hot and a large rice cooker cus nothing is better with Gumbo than fresh hot rice. Now I just need to know how many ppl will be coming so i can make enough. Looks like a few are all for it.....Gumbo Get Together...oh I'm having way too much fun with this.....
