ok, well i already put him in a 20l that had been cycling. hes the only inhabitant at teh moment. do i need to make a "crab proof" tops like freshwater crabs

+1 on Gorilla...hairy legs + pointed claws with black tips NOT reef safe. "crab proof" NO need.

i was looking at gorilla crabs and they had hair all over there body. mine only has hairy legs

They are entirely too close to looking like saltwater tarantulas! BLECH! That's why I don't like the decorator crabs...never heard of gorilla crabs till now, but I can say with all my heart EEEEW! lol!

Dam, I would hate to see one of those on some new live rock, it would have a great time in my new tank with all the softy frags etc. I'd be calling Sig Hansen to borrow one of his traps.
