so after ill say about 4 5 months i finally have one running thanks a LOT to jhawk83 who has been helping me with everything sine day 1 first i tried a 100g wich didnt go through then a 46g bowfront wich i thought was too small so i went ahead and just got a 75g all i have in it for the moment is 2 4stripe damsels 2 green chromis and 2 nemos so now that this is running i can go back to starting a cichlid tank.first 75g salt water  2010-11-12220023first 75g salt water  2010-11-12222548_FortWorth_Texas_USfirst 75g salt water  2010-11-14230435_FortWorth_Texas_US

youll love it EVEN MORE once you get some Coraline algea and corals growing in their!!!
what kind of filtration are you running on this? do you have a sump/ fuge?
also what type of lights?
how many pounds of rock and sand
and your future stock list:)
srry i get ansey when it comes to SW tanks! especially here on the [BOX] cuz no one really shows em off or has any!! lol

Luis,

Looks like a good start to your saltwater venture! A 75 gallon is a perfect starting size for saltwater since the fish are a bit more territorial and need a little more space.

is that Tufa that you used for your base rock?

The reason I ask is I have lots of it in my tank too, I gota say Tufa purple's up faster than any other rock I have seen, and its a natural carbonate.

yeah I used it as base rock and to fill in the back I just put live rock in front

i noticed in your pics that you have a tiny Diatome bloom goin in certain parts of the tank!
