Since I don't have a working camera, my friend Sarah came and took a few pics of my tank with her cell phone yesterday!

It's come a long way, and at least that awful diatom brown is mostly gone now. I have about 40 more pounds of rock to add yet. I want to have all the rock covered with LPS and soft corals and polyps when I'm finished...I only have to 2 frags in there right now.
After Sarah left, I took some of the Chaeto from their baggies (those are the white "tubes" you see in the back corners) and set 3 small balls of it out in some of the holes in the LR. Figured it couldn't hurt filtration and would give the hermits something to munch on as well.

And so, without further ado:

Button polyps (They were stressed bad when I got them...didn't think any would survive, but they're coming back with a vengence!)

I still have a very long way to go yet, but with patience and dilligence I will have my dream tank with the reef, inverts, and fish I have always wanted. A work in progress 690297

Keep it up! I still have not taken the plunge to salt so you have my admiration there!

It's not too late! You don't have many rocks! Get rid of the damsel now while you can still catch him (relatively) easily!

yes catch that blue devil! the buttons look good they will be fine.
I know you don't understand the damage that can and will be done by Damsels
but trust me they will take out any fish you add within a week even ones 10 x their size they are meaner then snakes when they feel it's their territory. other then that it looks good a lot more rock and you'll be fine. great job:)

Thanks guys!

STM: It's so worth it! You'll be so glad you took the plunge when you finally do it!

Pope and Cwhip: I'm definitely getting rid of these guys before I add any other fish and have already spoken to Petco about taking them back should no one want them...I have them posted for free on CL.

I want to get my reef built and finished before I add any more fish though...however, having said that and knowing my impulsiveness, that may not actually be the case. lol!

I have about 25 pounds of rock in there now, so I want to add another 40 or so, plus all the stationary inhabitants to adorn them.

I'm so glad I've finally been able to start making my dream tank a reality!!!
