| in reference to the last photo i have a question...
i got 2 redish finned fish from carealot in newport news and i was under the impression that they were red tail acei...but after adding them to my aquarium they dont seem like them to me...
and my other question is also referring to the last photo... i have no idea what the greyish fish is kinda reminds me of a convict but im sure its not...

| Have u thought about a plain blue background ? In my opinion they are so much better looking than any else It brings the colour of the fish out and the fish are a lot less skittish, it also enhances the rock formations

no i havent i just used the background that i use to have on the 50ish gallon tank i use to have set up a few years ago... im actually thinking about either making a rock background that goes in the tank or the 3D backgrounds that go inside the tank... still looking for fish to add to my tank to give it the look im goin for... i like blues and oranges together

| in my opinion 3D back rounds take up too much space in any
tank less then 24 inches wide. i would paint it black or blue..
what i did with my tank is that since i already had water in it, i
painted some poster board and taped it to the back of the tank.
This way i can change it when ever i want

| Things are coming along nicely! I'd definitely add more rocks, and I know you're on the hunt for perfect ones. I think the fish feel more comfortable with plenty of rockwork. | |

| Niiiice...;)
Thats one of those 'night time' tanks you stare at when all the lights are off....
........................................ever notice everyone puts the "caves" on the left hand side of the tank...... I wonder if 'left handers' put all their caves on the right side...... heh... Peace -JT
......I just noticed you turned your kitchen light off after the first picture. I thought your boys had custom cabinets and a sink in their tank.. shoooot, they could do their own water changes......
