name me.. (no pics thou)

I saw the COOLEST fish the other day. but don't know what it's call or even how to find it... It was a "bottom dweller" and it's fins were long and skinny like legs and it would use them (4) to crawl around, looks just like legs. and to eat it would just eat huge mouthfuls of gravels, and shoot it out of it's gils.. it was pretty big too.. like the size of a male forearm..

First thing that comes to mind is the african lung fish. Don't know their eating habits, though, so I could be wrong. Try googling it and see if that's it. If so, they're even cooler than you've already seen! Read up on them. I'd love to be able to house one.

Yay! Yeah, they're really cool fish. They get ginormous though and put out a ton of waste so they really need a huge tank. They're not the most practical fish to keep. One of those where they'll eat pretty much anything that won't attack them. I wasn't aware of the gravel sifting behavior, though. If you got the space, though, they'd definately be a show piece!

naw i'm a salt guy, but i did like watching him. he was interesting, had a bit of a personality..
