| I have a question. Has anyone ever seen fry? I don't want to discuss hybrids. Just want to know if anyone has seen fry. Thank you. | |

| meaning they are so inbred its rare to have 2 parrots produce any viable offspring, due to infertility. | |

| I have never seen fry from BP's before but have always heard the females could spawn with severums and some other fish which I have forgotten. I don't think BP's are but do understand why people immensely dislike them. I think they are cute. Most people that keep them just adore them. | |

Read everything. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blood_parrot_cichlid I understand. My fascination for them comes with their goofy personalities. I visited someone's house that had several of them in a large tank. I'm sure this is going to make me sound awful but they were so dorky/goofy I couldn't stop laughing. I've liked them ever since. | |

| I knew how you all felt about them. The question was raise to me and I thought they were sterile. Yes I knew female can lay eggs. Kory I knew very well how you feel about hybrids. Thats why I proposed the question the the forum for info about fry. Everyone enjoy your Republican holiday. 4th of July. | |
